Staff Bio

Kevin Milhoan

Principle and lead application developer for KM Realty. After working as both a systems administrator and contract software developer, Kevin took time off in 2004 to found and run a real estate investment mangement firm. He kept his web application development and design skills sharp by writing a massive web app to run his entire business(and several other businesses) on. He works primarily in PHP with MySQL, with a heavy background in database schema design, implementing access control systems, ajax enhanced user interfaces(when appropriate), and css/xhtml layout implementation. He is not an artist, but if you can build it in photoshop, he can build it in CSS. He prefers to work with MVC(Model View Controller) architechure patterns for his work, and is familiar with several frameworks that implement this pattern. He has a fair knowledge of RubyOnRails, enough to not recommend it for a production system.
